How much for Buddha?

The front axle for the Brumm (in grey) 1913 Bedelia is ....sitting in front of the Godly Splittie

But I don't want it..

The Nemesis took that one too - it was by Tekno. Missing glazing, and with the baseplate strangely bent out.

A Dinky France 230SL did show up on the stall a few years back - needed a full resto, but I think it was in the 50p box. Can't remember who ended up with it, but it was someone on here!

Oh no a Tekno!  Ooooh I missed out there.  If I see it appear on 'bay then I will be able to tag and track the Nemesis...

I have the Spot-On hard top, bought in a weak moment while in a Cornish antique shop, the type with PRICE TAGS.  Don't ask how much I paid for it

The Dinky was actually bought in France last year, it was pretty much a tenner IIRC from a street market table, even missing the screen and a headlamp too

IMG_20230115_212143_1.thumb.jpg.19fec6106e30a191ef6525a737afbcb6.jpg

Picked up the New-Ray (the light red one) cheap, meaning to utilise the screen for the Franco Dinky, but it's a bit too nice on its own after all!

Horsas do not bomb.

They glide.

Because glider.

Glider 91 is significant because it landed the first troops in France on D-Day 6th June 1944.  They crossed the channel just after midnight, captured Pegasus bridge intact and the Cafe on the bank of the Caen canal was the first building to be liberated in Normandy

I think you should still do it as that looks to be based on a plastic kit (Airfix, Tamiya?) I did a Crayford Mk2 based on an Airfix 1/32 years ago. Unfortunately not much is left after being moved from one box to another.

Fiver for the Matchbox Dinky Mini Cooper seems very reasonable - the box doesn't even appear UV damaged.

I already have one, but I would have lifted it at that price too!

Ford Fairmont and Dodge pickup. I had both of these when I was a kid but they’ve long since disappeared so bagged these two off eBay. The Fairmont is in really nice condition, Dodge is good too and the bed cover is complete which my old one was missing.

A varied selection, but I'm well pleased with them! The Cougar and Toronado are great, but the Impala is unquestionably the star of the show.

Just goes to show, you never know what might turn up...

Happy Friday, kids.

Is the Fairmont named 'Frontrunnin'?  They rarely look that tidy, they look more like this!

Actual prices - £9.99 each.

I really didn't think they'd be on the stall for more than an hour or two, but this is the third week they've been there.

Unless he has a few dozen of each colour and just keeps replenishing...

I remember painting those two!  Must have been the far side of 30 years ago.

I'm quite upset about that Cresta, it's a colour scheme I don't have, and particularly want.  The Jensen and an Elan would have found homes here too, as would the red Victor that was next to the Cresta, if the price was right.

The piss de resistance was this awesome Nissan Patrol Y60. I’d really like a full size one, they didn’t sell many in the UK because it wasn’t high status enough for the Range Rover brigade. I did have a quick go in my mate’s dad’s one which was a straight six petrol (same block as a Skyline) and it was pretty awesome. Nowadays they nearly all live in Romania and have been fitted either with the actual engine from a GTR Skyline or the M57 engine from a BMW 330 or 335d. Probably the most awesome off roader ever built.

Still looking for a Hotwheels 80 Series Landcruiser.

From the back of the 2022 card:

Born: 2021, El Segundo, California
Designer: Hot Wheels®
Our own take on the '70s Italian grand tourer, this four-seater coupe would have been seen slaying the turns of the Rallye Sanremo. It's ready to shred asphalt or gravel.

Caspita!

While Mrs Concern was haggling over the Pride of Dover, I picked up the fire engine thing remembering seeing it in the catalogues when I was a kid, but never seen one irl.

The seller saw me and offered it for £10, so I put it down he gradually reduced the price in steps down to £5.50 and without having any idea what it was worth I bought it doh!

Blimey, there's a question. Looking at model shops on Google Maps I'd say it may have been Sheffield Transport Models, which looks to have closed in the last year or two. It was certainly a small shop, I remember that much.
