This car was stolen between 06.30 and 9.00am today,Tuesday. (08.11.11)....From Fradley which is near to Lichfield in Staffordshire...If you see this listing you know who you are you piece of crap,,thats of course if you`ve got the ability to read, which I very much doubt...

I`ve been told by ebay that my previous description of the rodent type creature that took my car was unacceptable and I am so so very sorry if it`s poor feelings have been hurt..You want to be me this morning!!!

Now my plea to any decent people who have taken the time to look at my listing, for this, I Thank you very much...

This was my 1983 Honda civic,5 door hatch..I`ve owned it for about 14 months, purchased soon after passing my Automatic test,,there`s only 9 of these left registered in the uk,but this is completely irrelevant,I just want my Honda back...

I dont have much money and am not able to just go and buy another car,I`ll have to work and save up,,theres one thing for sure,,I wont just go and help myself to someone elses... I am willing to give a reward for the recovery of my car..So if it`s offered as a project or for breaking PLEASE,PLEASE get in touch and I promise to give you a cash reward upon recovery, more information is available upon request.. Anyone who`s ever had a car taken know the hassle and expense I`m about encounter,,its started already,,my insurance company have already started to wriggle...If you can help in any way please get in touch...Thank you for taking the time to look at this..

Kind Regards..Lorraine

I hope she gets it back. Iisn't not something a joyrider would take is it? Can't see it being a hit down the oval and it won't weigh much if Hiabed and Fragged. Very strange, I suppose some are such scumbags they will take anything.

Sadly, those are the exact words spoken by most of us on here when Torsten's Austin A35 was nicked in London. Despite lots of very public forums posting up stolen notices it was never seen again :(

You do have to wonder about the motivations of something like this being stolen though, like you say some people are just scum and would probably take anything given half a chance. I do hope she gets it back.

Taken at that time - it's gone, weighed in and shredded and an early finish for someone that day.

Cracking little cars these but they do suffer a lot from the tin worm.

My mother had a white Y reg in the early 1990's when she bought one to replace her T reg Mini.

Possibly because its cheaper than a taxi home after a night on the lash or visiting.

Used to get cars nicked from the car park at Blackpool Vic turning up in Preston on the Gammul estate periodically, or on the Grange park estate - nearly always someone visiting who couldnt be arsed with a taxi or bus. Occasionally they came back.

Having had 2 cars nicked I feel her pain and empathise with her desire to pull the thieving scrotes toenails out with a pair of pliers.

Old smokers like this are very easy to steal compared to more modern cars. Could have just been joyriders. Often when they have finished having their "joy" the damaged car is spotted and scooped up by a flying scrapman. "It was abandoned, officer".

this is why everyone with an old motor like this needs a disklok..

as much as a visible deterant a disk / steering wheel lock is . with the rite tools they can be picked in seconds . there are websites/ forums dedicated to getting past locks just for fun

1. That isn't a disklock

2. Strange how a banger racing fan knows about that site

3. I'm not saying Tony Martin was right...

I am, and will, repeatedly. He should have been knighted, not arrested.

youtube clip is a £3.99 cheapo lock, not a thatcham approved disklok.

Scrotes on their way home from the pub that don't want to pay for a cab are unlikely to want to mess around with a good quality steering lock.

I'd like to think Lorraine will get her car back, but let's be honest, it's not looking likely. Isn't it this generation of Civic that Quentin Tarantino slips into almost every one of his movies?

+ 1

I hope Lorraine gets her Hondamatic Civic back. :( It looks like a real sweetie and rather unusual with the blue vinyl roof.
