twosmoke300
Well the poor little saxo loan car has finaly died. Rear floor x member has pulled away from the floor. Would anyone be interested in this for bits ? Its done 194 k but does not burn any oil ( vac pump leaks a bit) or water. Pretty much FSH too.Had a Gates cambelt kit and new LUK clutch a month or so ago. Starts and drives fine but I cant risk customers using it anymore. Would get 100 for scrap so if anyone would match that id rather bits live on . It had a recon rear beam about 4 years ago and that still seems fine. Still tested til june and taxed to get you home. Located in Cornwall and dont mind collecting people from Redruth or Camborne train stations. Still has half a tank of fuel at the moment. Sad day - was sure shes make 200k no problems. Looks like HMC's Skoda will be stepping up alcyonecorporation and HMC
castros_bro
Hi, I'm looking for something smoll and diesel to do a couple of thousand miles in Eurolands, Don't need rear seats and not planning on it coming back. Do you think the floor/x member easy to access and plate from the inside (with stuff removed obvs) I assume it's Pug 106 style with tube rear axle mounted to the floor ? sierraman
We had a similar thing with the wife's grandmothers Corsa D, rear spring mounts went on both sides. Once its got to that point its throwaway.
