For sale. For free. Eventually. Maybe. 1991 Proton Saga Aeroback LYNX

I have been in touch with the owner of this and it will, at some point, be available. It is and has been for some time parked here to stop a "rather unpleasant" neighbour from using the owners' driveway. If/when the owner gets permission to fence off the driveway it will be available free of charge to whoever wants it. Forgive me if I'm wrong but this seems like a prime slice of Malaysian shite. For the sake of the owners privacy for the time being all I will say about it's location is that it is just north of Manchester. It is SORN and no MOT history available online. It could be totally fucked, I really don't know.

Anyone who wants it get in touch and I'll keep your updated whenever I hear from the owner. Perhaps if someone could offer something that is only fit for scrap but is presentable to take it's place we might be able to secure it's future sooner but the replacement would need to be put in place as soon as the Proton is moved.

"These cars also included a special sunroof (different, and smaller than the Webasto Top Slider used in the GLS and SE models) with an exclusive Lynx graphic on the glass."

Exciting stuff!

Neighbours can be cunts.

Cunts are useful, neighbours aren't.

That's class. Hope its not to rotten sitting on grass.

Working class, aye. Entirely possible that it's rotten but I reckon the body kit and wheels are worth saving regardless.

I thought the bumpers on these were plastic but from the rust on the rear they must be metal.

Mitsubishi Lancers had plastic bumpers, the Proton Saga's were steel.

Where is this prime chunk of Malaysian style?

If it is knackered, I'm highly tempted to turn mine into a Lynx clone.

Hands up if you were hoping DW would say that ;-)

I can imagine the fella who bought that new arriving home in his new sports car with a bodykit and his kids being devastated as they'd been expecting an RS Turbo

About an hour North of Manchester. Am I right in thinking that you had one of these?
