ifc63 Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 My beige Corolla (but posh in that it's metallic beige )
ifc63 Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Are we talking just cars or beige in general. It's just that I unearthed this photo of me c.1984 in all-over beige-ness (with a dose of ginger thrown in for good measure). A true follower of fashion even then
Luxobarges_Are_Us Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I hereby proclaim myself the W1NNA of this thread. I am almost offended that nobody else bothered to post the undisputed epitome of beigeness.

Guest Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Last year I bought a Nissan 200SX, colour 'beige' on log book.Quite a rare colour and instantly named Jewish Gold RacerUp turns new V5 in my name, colour now 'gold'. Where's the humour in a 'gold' Carlos Fandango car? Gold ain't no Jewish Racing Gold Sooooooo email to DVLA Complaints after a few too many, then swiftly forgotten about until.......call from their Customer Services....SH*T, vague recollections...errrr errrr and something from me on lines of "what gives the DVLA the right to change the colour of my vehicle on a whim!?" Then few days later, Klunk, new logbook stating "Colour:Beige" falls upon my hall way carpet.
RobT Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 That be my miniMetro! And me standing next to it looking like a dork in my floppy hat, Peterborough last year I think. My Oyster beige Montego. Didn't buy it for it's beigeness though, bought it because it was cheap
ProgRocker Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 ^ I've always liked that shade beige on a Montego.

Manbearpig Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Beige can look good in a pseudo military way; but mostly it just looks cack.

ifc63 Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 That brings back memories of the first car we got for my mother when she passed her test at the grand old age of 65. Services Provided By DVLA: The enquiry is complete The vehicle details for WFA 550X are: Date of Liability 01 07 1993 Date of First Registration 18 02 1982 Year of Manufacture 1982 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 903CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour BEIGE As above did 2 good years for her and then we scrapped it. She's since had 3 other Pandas, a K10 Micra and she's now on her 2nd K11 Micra. She's now 85 and drives nearly everyday

gricer Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Livin' the dream in Weybridge, last weekend. Broken down by roadside. Serves him right for dropping the suspension and putting on those stupid wheels.
