I've been away again!

Bought a lovely new camera off Retrogeezer of the parish, left it at home, and then popped off to France!

Had a lovely time on this:

but due to the fun I was having only spotted these:

There was a Bedford TK in the back too!

 

Then I buggered off to North Yorkshire for a piss up in this:

 

While I was away this arrived at work though:

Quite fast I'm told, haven't had a go in it yet....soon though!

 

But just before that I had to hi-tail it to Oslo via France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark & Sweden where I spotted these:

and saw some amusing signs:

 

But before I left, this arrived, my it's wonderful!

Good spots, shame it's so difficult to take photos when you're on the bike, what with setting up the tripod and putting the black cloak over your head.

I think you'll find that the single carb 1750 Maxi lump is more than a match for the Veyron in terms of sheer excitement

Nice spots Vek, loving the snotty 124. the crusty Vedette is a sad sight indeed... I'm guessing they don't have pre-68 in (whatever country you saw it)?

I think the Dodge is actualy a wartime 'Beep', the Power Wagon was based on the same chassis and came out after the war.

That's not a 124, a proper Lada! The Vedette was in Norway, there was a nicer one under the tarp!

Only on Autoshite would that selection of photos get posted, and more comments made about the Lada than that Veyron.

 

But I agree, if the bonnet of the Veyron was open to expose some rotten 70's inner wings (in sandglow) and a B-series diesel, that would be much cooler.

To be honest I was more excited by the Vedette than the Veyron!
