Since you posted that picture it's been driving me nuts trying to remember what it is and finally today during lunch I worked out that it's a 1953 Ford Customline.

I can have a crack at IDing all the yank stuff, might take me a while though, there's a lot to ID.

This is actually hard work, but rewarding.  Made a start on IDing, could well be wrong so I welcome correction.

Which makes it a 1959 Plymouth with a Dodge front clip and that's called a Dodge Diplomat.

It was one of many Mopar cut and paste jobs for export.

Used to be a Landcrab in that spot, my car broke down out of sympathy a few weeks ago...

I really enjoy your spottings. A strange mix of wonderful stuff in far flung places and trying to work out where in Aberdeen the local spots are.

It seems this lives a few streets away from me.

Is that a recent photo Tayne? I saw that car up Mintlaw way a few months ago looking a bit sorry for itself.

I've tried to buy that very car a few times over the years but unsuccessful so far

I was lucky enough to spot this little gem in Kingston on Thames yesterday. Apparently in daily use by someone working at the hotel.post-19003-145530809201_thumb.jpg

Sorry for the pic's low quality. I was too lazy and comfy in the Renner Yves St Laurent's heated leather throne to get out for proper photography.

Speaking of BMWs, I don't believe I've posted this before.

Seen in the garage near work sometime last year.

This E9 coupe is owned by the same guy who has the E3 saloon in post #367

Seen in the same place, does he work there?

No, I think both cars must have been at the garage nearby for some fettling.

That Kia Pride Estate is amazing.

If someone could just slip it my phone number and tell it that I'll be waiting in the train station tomorrow morning wearing a red carnation, that would be great.

Did you mean to post that in this thread?

He's almost implying you're a lazy spotter, which is manifestly an injustice of the grossest order. I'd thump him if I were you.

Is the Pride the result of AndyCMS's Kia/Volvo breeding programme? Outstanding spottage.

That orange Mini Clubman is a hottie.  It just about gets away with the black number plates, too.
