There seem to be many ugly cars about, and they have been catalogued for your amusement in this lovely website!

Theres a whole load of shite mixed in, but its very funny all the same!

The name NSU actually comes from the initials of two rivers (the Neckar and the SUlm) surrounding a German knitting machine factory where these cars originated. The two products were produced with interchangeable parts. This NSU though was based on a combination of a septic tank and a cheese sandwich.

The Tagora made a fleeting appearance back in the very early eighties - Brought to you by Peugeot, who owned the Talbot (formerly Simca) marque. This was actually quite a massive barge by UK standards and shortly after production was ended, twelve Tagoras from the last production run were stacked on top of each other to form a block of council flats in central Birmingham.

Check out the nominations part for the general publics view on YOUR car!

Some of them are blinding. I've added one for a certain German car but inadvertantly included swear words so it might not feature.

I've posted. I may have to join this site... :D

Nissan : Juke

Before viewing the Nissan Juke it is essential to re-align your brain's interpretation of the visual stumuli being fed to it by staring at this web page for 30 seconds (http://www.doctorhugo.org/illusions/illusion4.html) before viewing the full sized picture on the left (click on the pic). Otherwise the Juke will appear to resemble a giant fetid jelly being sucked into a trans-dimensional vortex. Or something.

I can't see why the A2 is ugly - looks pretty normal to me. I do associate them with Stressed Eric's son although my eyes aren't right though.

The A2 is a fairly inoffensive looking thing. What I want to know is why the utterly hideous Daewoo Tacuma isn't in a class of its own...

well, that's because the Ssangyong Actyon invited itself in and created a two horse town. Then the Anadol A8-16 rolled up.

I like the A2, it was ahead of its time and unlike other Audis it doesnt make you instantly despise the person behind the wheel

pleased to see no Lancia Thesis or Citroen Ami they usually find themselve on ugly car lists when I think they look great.

Hmm, I find A2 drivers tend to be, if anything, even more clueless than the muppets in A3s.

I think it's because if people are gullible enough to buy an A2 for 'the environment, man' they're normally gormless enough to be crap drivers.

I don't mind A2s either. Pretty smart little cars I always thought. They certainly make more sense as a supermini/city car than the current A1.

The chap sat beside me at work right now has an A2 1.4tdi 'Sport' and although calling such a car 'sport' is quite laughable, its refined, big enough inside, well spec'ed and supprisingly quick. All whilst knocking out 60+MPG.

On my ugly cars list would be:

This shape Hyundai Coupe, i think the front end 'styling' is a joke.

I struggle to find anything nice about these. Although I imagine them to be AutoShite gold in years to come (if not already)

I can't really think of anything else, even newish BMWs et al don't bother me in a styling sense.

Although Im of the opinion that the E39 5series was the last traditionally 'handsome' car that BMW produced.

It's such a personal thing.

For example, I can't believe they have an avantime on there!

But the porker panamerica (or whatever the pug ugly 4 door version is called) isn't on there!

Although I have to say that Ssangyong do make a lot of vehicles for the visually impaired .
