That Volante which Prince Baldicoot borrowed from Chaz Nice-but-Dim to drive K. Shittiface the Catthatgotthecream a few yards...

If it runs on ethanol (extracted from 'English wine', forsooth), presumably it runs like shit & conks out as soon as the needle touches about 55?

ALSO: If it's '69, how come it's got a J reg? Surely it should be a G or H?

Experts please enlighten so that normal sleep can be resumed...

PS: It was a wonderful day for classic Range Rovers - why don't they just have a parade of them without all the horses, carriages, soldiers, nobs, etc? Good idea, eh?

Also why is he towing a cat?

And why is that hofficer standing up in the rear of the car? does he not know that it is an hoffence to stand up in a moving aston and rub your genitaila gently against the rear of the head of the Duchess not to mention the fact he have his face mashed to a pulp on the bonnet of the Aston then under the front wheels if the Duch' grabs Willy buy his William in an act of lust? there'd be brain matter all over those wire wheels.

So many questions, so little time.

Still, at least the 'minor royals' got to travel in minibuses built in their country of origin...

I didn't see that bit so assume they were in LDV or possibly Transit minibuses as they were built in Britain?

You clearly missed the part where it talks about their "country of origin", which is patently not Britain!

Some Royal motors aren't actually registered so J might be when it was first given a conventional plate, or possibly it was used overseas and imported back in 1970ish.

I thought LDVs were knocked up in Lancashire somewhere and I'm sure Transit minibuses were assembled in the Midlands somewhere? Ford are an American company and the Dutch used to have a hand in Leyland Daf at one point though.

I am, of course, assuming you're referring to the vehicles and not the 'minor royals' who to my knowledge were all born in England.

They may've been born in England, but their roots are German/Danish (as with most European royals in fact- they do like a little inbreeding!).

Becuase that would have made us like the French. Who wants to be a cheese-eating surrender monkey?

and where did the french aristos seek sancturary?

if we had followed Frances example, the 1st and 2nd world wars could have been avoided and the saxecoburg gothas empire would be limited to russia and austria.

We should have found a non-french way of killing them.

The battle of Britain flypast was nice...

As was turning £3.09 into £18 via the medium of blatantly obvious betting.

And a day off.

Go royals!

Who's going to mention it first?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_law

If this had happened:

if we had followed France's example, the 1st and 2nd world wars could have been avoided and the saxecoburg gothas empire would be limited to russia and austria.

Then it would have taken quite a bit for Godwin's law to exist.

Settle down now, settle down... It's time for Goodwin's Law!
