FACT DU JOUR: The resident DJ in the (now closed) Pub a couple of 100 yards prior to that cafe was called Trigger (You never had a perm did you AS Trigger?).

I'd say that is half hour from junction 28 of the M25 (A12) shitters. If your making a day of it, the Museum of Power is 15 minutes away too.

Eh? What is this fantastical establishment you speak of? I'm local like and I ain't never heard of no Museum Of Power.

Jais avez un grand intriguement.

I'm well up for a bit of this, either an evening once the clocks have changed, or a weekend do.

You can even pick your own Full English Breakfast, 75p per ingredient.

Lets see:

Bacon x 2

Egg x 2

Sausage x2 (cos they don't look that big in the photo)

Black Pudding x 2

Beans

Toast (you get 2 rounds)

10 x 75p = £7.50.

Not too bad a price that (depending on where you're comparing it to of course). I hope tea is chucked in free with that.

It has what looks to be the worst model village on Earth, which is a bonus

Flippin' marvellous! Actually, I could swear that some of those buildings arethe ones I knocked up at primary school using weetabix boxes and poster paints, how the hell did the Museum Of Power get their hands on them?!

Yeh, I might well be up for that. Something old is bound to need a run out. Long way like, but I like a challenge.

I will say, provisionally, that I will be up for this as it's pretty local, but I'll have to know times/dates before I say yes.

All my shite is very slow, so I don't much fancy the sound of that busy sliproad :?

Sounds good. The Volvo is an A12 veteran, having been used to drive from Southend to Ipswich a fair few times in my ownership :)

Who is this Trigger impersonator you speak off?, Everyone wants to be me, and for the record, I've never had a perm.

Might I suggest 'Drive It Day' for this outing which is Sunday April 17th, the weekend before Easter. The weather should be not too bad and there might be a few other 'old' things on the road.

I'll be quite happy sitting at a folding formica table in the car park noshing on a 'shite' packed lunch:

Limp fish paste sandwich

Value plain crisps

Club biscuit

Flask of piss-weak coffee.

Yum!

was this not you after all then?

Mega Roffles! God how embarrassing! That was at my MIL's 50th last year!

I've just noticed that i look like my mum in that photo, but with less facial hair.

If it is the 17th April (my birthday) i won't be able to go as I'm in London that weekend. :(
