Must admit, I'm not keen on overly graphic avatars. I come here to look at shite cars, not women's fluffy bits.

 

I suppose I should make a post on this thread as it's me who's provoked this discussion.

 

I started posting my somewhat naughty avatars because I thought it would be a bit of a giggle and I never meant to cause any offence and make Autoshite NSFW.

 

I've only ever used risque avatars that have also contained top-notch shite in the background and I really believe that whenever I upload a new one most shiters look to see what car it is before they notice the nude woman.

 

I've yet to recieve a PM asking me to tone them down but I'm happy to do so if the Autoshite opinion says so.

yes, visitors this afternoon in my house, including a 7 or 8 year old girl, i was reading the youtube thread, went to answer the front door. when i came back i got the look of daggers from the GF, as a small child had snook into the room and was watching monkeyboys animated avatar and sig. pic, her mother was not amused either

That's the kind of thing I expected to happen. I did think as soon as I saw that avatar, that Hell's Angel Syndrome would kick in (all tarred with the same brush). Now do we police ourselves, and voluntarily remove avatars that might be considered offensive/corrupting? Or do we wait for a visit from the Avatar Sweeney?
