Should I be here?

After all, all of my cars are absolutely brilliant.

I've got:

1988 pug 104

1986 citroen acadiane

1995 vauxhall midi

and a couple of land rovers but these don't count (I don't think)...

Hi by the way - I got sent here by someone who obviously thinks you'd like me and give me biscuits.

Posted

Yep, I'd say you qualify. Welcome aborad!

There are a few people on here who have a vague interest in Land rovers as well...........

Posted

Definately. Anyone with a 1988 Peugeot 104 would fit in here, especially as they stopped building 'em years before that.

Pull up a bean bag and don't hog the ashtrays.

I'm sure biscuits were mentioned - or did I dream it?

Plus, they only stopped making them 104's with the steering wheel on the correct side before that - they stopped making them about 3 months after mine.

You're kiddin'? The furriners could get 'em til 88? Class.

As for biscuits, you'll be lucky.

Oh, as you appear to be a Peugeot Perv, any bits for my 604?

Posted

Welcome! Before you qualify for the biscuits you have to post photos of your fleet, did your friend mention that?

Well, you live & learn; From Wikipedia - 'The Peugeot 104 is a supermini motor car designed by Paolo Martin and produced by the French car manufacturer Peugeot between 1972 and 1988'

Not that I disbelieved you.

Welcome!

...and we want pics.

You have now totally earned the right to Hob Nob with us on a regular basis!

Excellent fleet, by the way.

Welcome! I haven't got any Hob Nobs handy, but you can have a couple of Abernethy biscuits from a Midi perv.

Anyone who has a Bedford Midi should get automatic registration here.

Welcome along.

Rich is not a word the wife will let me use.

The Acadiane is white actually (originally, under the dirt and stuff) but beige is fitting at the mo and that situation is unlikely to change  'Tis unfortunate, but I think it may be going to pastures new soon - justification to drag it over here from France is hard to come by 'cos the boat costs a fortune and I think it's only the (beige) paint that's holding the rusty bits together... We'll see about that later.

The 104 will absolutely be emigrating to join us here - we need more of them!

I'm a frayed knot, the only car bits I have are car shaped and attached (more or less)

Welcome, pdg. Ginger nuts all round !! (better late than never... :) )

Bienvenu - Acadiane reminds me of the one my aunt & uncle had in the 80s, what a noisy thing that was... happy memories.

Should you be here?

Welcome to Autoshite's Closet Peugeot Fanciers Society.

Absolutely. Welcome.

WOW, now that's eclectic selection of autoshite / voitures du merde.

That 104 is the absolute cock AND balls.

Jealous.

Yay - I got biccies  Makes up for only having the 2.4td midi.

Still don't know if I should include the 'L' plate fiat panda my mum drives daily, I've told her already that if she ever doesn't want it anymore it's mine! As it is it's my job to keep it going.

And going

And going...

I've had it through the last 3 mots with only minor advisories - I might even find some rust on it one day. If anyone knows where they are supposed to rust, please let me know.

Having had several Fiats, and possibly more to come, I think I can safely say that everything on a Panda will rust, and quite badly too, with the possible exceptions of the windscreen and seat covers. If you can weld, you'll be fine.
