DUY...S was a Worcester issue of November 1977.  I wonder if BL were trying to disguise things by not using the Birmingham, Oxford & Coventry coded plates as their press cars.  Also LHD to add to the mix.

The pre-production Wedges had London registrations for a similar reason.

Not quite sure of the date of this.  Mixture of FX3 and FX4 taxis, so probable early / mid 60s. Austin Cambridge A60 estate ( intr 1961) , backs this up.

Probably about the same time I first saw Piccadilly Circus aged about 4-5.

Anyone any idea what the bright green vehicle in front of the Bristol ( theatre?) is?
