I had an explore of that Flickr photo group, I recognised Profil and Fette Kursiv Grotesk (also known as Derek AT italic), but I think the Extra Bold version of Stymie Italic is the 1960's/1970's signage font (Stymie Bold looks too thin):

This office block near to where I work has a Stymie Bold Italic sign.

Classic SGE three-header, but photos of them fitted with the late 1960s-on pedestrian pictogram box are very rare.
