The base would not have wheel trims or bump strips on the lower quarter, and probably not the bright trim in the bumper, that is an L.

An early L too, after the first year the L got internally adjustable mirrors.

Isn’t that a Mini Countryman? Therefore the current Clubman should be called the Countryman. (Barn doors).

Cortina Mk4/5 estate in Arizona Gold behind. My Dad had a 2.0GL in that colour.

And that’s the Clubman (albeit modified).

That leaves the  current Countryman nameless, possibly a  Maxi?

Depends if it is an Austin or not. Looking at the badging I think it is a Morris Mini Traveller.

The names Countryman and Traveller have nothing to do with the wood trim. All Austin estates were called Countryman, and all Morris were called Traveller.

The Granada is closer to Arizona gold, the MK4 EST is probably harvest gold.

I agree that the Granada is Arizona gold, the Cortina is Nevada beige.

@Metal Guru I would love to see pictures of your Dad’s Cortina’s if you have any. My guess is that your Dad’s car was Oyster Gold.
