That's already a preserved bus in 1981. RTs were replaced by Routemasters on the 119 in 1976. I didn't know that, I had to look it up but I did know the last RT ran in service in April 1979 which made me suspicious of the claimed 1981 date. The two mk3 Capris suggest it is later than 1976. 

RT 1599 very probably still exists. A quick Google comes up with the most recent photo in 2016.

There's a brown tax disc visible displayed on the vehicle on the left which I think would date the image to 1978 or 1982.
