Do these have any worth? Found a couple at the back of my shed. Dont think they have any use left in them but not sure whether to take them to the tip or not..

My local scrappy was paying £3 a pop I think.

I take mine to BFs in New Years Lane just up from the rubbish tip but there are more local scrappies that should come up on a google search.

Can't say your deffo get £3 each but worth a try, they do it by weight and it was something like £400 a tonne

7 quid each around here, much better than 3 quid :D

At 'frauds we used to get £6 a piece for them, a company would come and collect them by the (huge plastic tub on a) pallet, count them and pay head office. Some "impostors" got a van signwritten up the same as the proper company that collects the batteries and came round all the stores picking the pallets of batteries up, I think they did 40+ stores over a few days before anyone cottoned on.

Used to pick loads of them up for a company I worked for. I think they were destined for a large place in the West Mid's who recycled them or whatever. Hated picking those big plastic boxes up, they were very heavy and a pita to manouvre on the back of the van.

Yep im getting £6 a pop up here as well from Grays in Kirkcaldy. My battery on the cougar turned to soup so I got a replacement from u pull it for £9 and weighed in the old one at grays for £6.

 

battery problem solved for three quid. Mingebag motoring at its peak.
