Billy - Medhurst Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I think that's the one I see parked up in Handsworth Birmingham - keep meaning to picture it.
Inspector Morose Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 ^^^ Ha! This lives just round the corner from me! Owned by a gentleman, I would guess, in his mid sixties and of the oirish persuasion and I've only ever seen him so ,Bol, you could well be right. It's gone through two colour changes since then. The red was painted first orange and now a paler orange/ peach colour, all using a yard brush from about 50 feet away. His house is a sight to behold too, it's the only time where I've seen decorative stonework painted using chrome and gold arosols without the safety net of masking in any form whatsoever. worldofceri 1
Grundig Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 That Transit van is extraordinary, i reckon it belongs to some guy whose wife died about 10 years ago.... I'm also thinking he is/was connected with the Haulage industry ?? The triangle shaped reflectors on the rear doors should only be fitted to a trailer by law
worldofceri Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 That Transit's starting to make my eyes bleed now. Let's have something to restore the balance: An LT35 that thankfully remains as God intended all vans to be: plain dirty white. Dax 1
worldofceri Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Black Country Museum, earlier this year. Disappointingly, this Guy coach didn't take us all the way to Devon, just 300 yards down the road. This curiosity was in the vehicle workshop: Details were scant.
Skizzer Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Blimey, that's obscure. Australian Ford Falcon? Nice colour. KruJoe 1
worldofceri Posted December 4, 2013 Author Posted December 4, 2013 Seen outside a local motor factors. Wonder how many bits for this are available 'off the shelf'.
Skizzer Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Quality. Has someone welded on an extra 18 inches of headroom in the back to turn it into a camper? I do hope so - this would be GR37.6 for waking up all the Caravan Club folks with a giant cloud of blue smoke.
mercrocker Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 This is quite wonderful. What he should do is make a VDUBCADDYCOOLSURFTRUK out of the Aspro and put the Batman thingy on the squashed minivan and he could get serious SCENETAX from two bunches of twa....sorry enthusiasts

rml2345 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 That Sunny estate is an excellent spot. The guy who had our local shop ran a Sunny van when I was a kid in a sort of two tone pogweasel and rust finish.

Lord Sterling Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I spotted this very Acclaim a couple of days ago.
worldofceri Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 I reckon I was in your neck of the woods when I took that. I think that's the Shell garage on Bristol Road, Northfield.
Inspector Morose Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Shit! That acclaim lives just around the corner from me! Added green Hammerite rear valance FTW!
