Probably the most expensive VW variant at the show, unless there was a hens teeth coachbuilt of some kind. The Type 166 was produced in quite large numbers, many of them went to WaffenSS units, they made around 14,000 of them but obviously survive in very small numbers. If genuine and it has a wartime cogwheel block it probably worth a lot. An unrestored one sold a couple of years ago for $150,000. ;)

OMG numberplate discrepancy!

 

Who was it that was on about a car they knew of that had gone through several mot's with mis-matched number plates?  Well, this one belongs to a flippin' mot station!

Q258 RNH is/was a 1988 gas-powered Komatsu according to DVLA.  A fork-lift perhaps?

 

Should send the ANPR into meltdown if this ever heads onto the M42...
