Mostly on account of the existence of the 'X-Power' supercar, which the management had bought from the owners of De Tomaso, and mildly restyled. This left them with all the components to convert an MG ZT to rear drive. Which they did over lunch, in the shed, with sellotape.

And it has a Ford engine.

How about the urban myth that 'Camaro' means 'loose bowels' or 'shrimp' in the vernacular of various Spanish dialects? Probly untrue, but mildly amusing.

Enzo Ferrari actually had two families. Two wives with kids and all, on the go, at the same time. Dirty/lucky old goat.

Oh, and Harry Ferguson designed and built a production-able FF estate car (not unlike a Subaru Forester in concept), to hawk the idea round various car manufacturers. He nearly put it into production, but hadn't the space in his tractor factories. After GKN bought the system from him, they nearly succeeded in selling it to Ford and Volvo. Yes, a Capri FF was seriously considered. Jack Brabham's workshop, on the other hand, built a handful of Shelby Mustangs with the FF system.

And the Jensen Interceptor FF was the first production car with ABS - Dunlop's mechanically activated 'Maxaret' system.
