Hello and Welcome.

Hmm, your car. I don't see this ending well....

Posted

Welcome to the Forum.

Im not sure how some of the members on here will take this, although I personally think its good to see someone having fun with a generally unloved car. Are Rovers fairly rare beasts on the continent?

Posted

I take it the head gasket is (thus far at least) holding on in there?

Or has it a dizzler/ non K-series pez under the bonnet?

Posted

That actually looks much better done than most forced RatLook cars.

Welcome. Im sure that those who dont like this type of vehicle 'styling' will do the adult thing and just ignore this thread without comment ....

Welcome, ACK2. It's nice to see someone from Germany driving a Rover! It doesn't look too bad.

Posted

I don't mind that.................I think Rover missed a trick by not offering a "distressed option package........"

Hello and welcome! Interesting looking car, it looks better then the rat-look Rover 400 I posted in that rat-look thread recently.

Still don't like the shat-look personally though.

Hello and thank you.

I saw some RatLook cars to, they are totally different in style .

We won´t destroy the car, or let it look like.

The hole optic was planed, and we want people to say, woooww, not pfuii ;-)

Thats also why we made the complete interieur glossy and clean, the dorbords in front, back and sky are white with golden matalflakes, so all is glimmering and shining.

We want a beatyfull look, inside and outside and the comments of people show us, that we made our stuff good ;-)

But there are still many projeks before us, untill the look is complete.

Sorry for my english.. !!

Your English is better than some people who have English as their first language!

Sitting on the fence on this one. Obviously a lot of effort gone in, very nice photos; but I still don't truly understand the concept.

I think you can make anything look half-decent artfully photographed at night time.

Welcome! I like your Rover A LOT!

Rat look German registered Rover - That in my opinion is the whole point of Autoshite, a total nonconformist attitude!

Posted

Hello ACK, and I actually quite like your Rover. In those pics anyway.

As I don't like FWD Rovers, and never did, I think you've done well.

Posted

Well I think it looks shit, but if it satisfies TUV then thats good. Most of these UK heaps need crushing.

Posted

You should have your numberplates made with a British typeface and a replica Victoria Cross on the bonnet. :D

Blitz.. My comment is valid. All components fitted are certified. Any roadside inspection by the relevant Government operative would prove it safe if it was correctly assembled. The shit that gets lobbed together in the UK is mostly that. Lobbed together shit. Whether you think that certifying supplementary components by a specialist, whether private or Government controlled, is a bad thing, is basically bollocks. As long as regulations are in place to prevent sub-standard components and fitting taking place. That's the thing. I was in fact congratulating the OP on the "quality" of the job done. And I absolutely hate these things.

Not a great fan of ratlook myself but welcome anyway! Good to have another international autoshiter.

hello and welcome to autoshite from france, your ride is different, good on you, got any other cars

I really don't like RATLOOK but this seems very well executed and I have to say, I do like this example! The U.K is full of half-arsed abortions but this one seems like its actually had some money spent on it. Got any more pics?

Hallo,

the most people like and take photos at day. The optic is the best when the sun shines on it

We drive a Dodge to ;-)

It is the next projekt.

At the moment there are Metalflakes and Pinstripes on it, but in near future the car will be complete designed.

Ack-Ack, have you seen my Me163 Komet inspired Ford Capri rat projekt? I don't think I'll be getting invited for a display at the Sinsheim in the near future.... lol.

Hello,

are you come to Sinsheim?

We can meet there and talk about our cars and projekts ;-)
