I'm aiming to be there for 11.00. Possibly a bit earlier depending on traffic.

Has anyone told the AA / RAC to cancel holidays for all their patrols tomorrow?

Looking like a fantastic turn out, can't wait to see some of these cars!

Cars all washed, polished and hoovered and looking lovely!!

Are we all parking in the car park together or are we having our own section type thing?

Posted

I've given the van a quick once over. Now decidiing on route. A1 will be more scenic but Multimap reckons M6-A14-A1 is quickest.

I should be there about 11 with Mini-me, you can scrub my mate and his 635 out and I'm not bringing the Triumph as it's in the Dungeon and I can't be arsed so I shall be in the yellow Skoda

See you there!

You will fill the car park!

I have been given permission to go, so the 'Hellraiser' Merc will be in attendance.

No valetage has taken place here today as the weather has been vile. So the car will be filthy, soz.

^What he said

Oh, as you exit the museum, there's this really weird collection of cuddly toys and naff dollies sitting round a gypsy caravan thing. It looks like the sort of display you might find in a paedophiles back garden. :?

Posted

I've not done any valetage either. Just 'fixed' the floppy door mirror with tape. That'll do.

You have just described "Collectors World" in Downham Market. Now that IS a shite museum - unless you fancy wasting an afternoon of your life admiring a table of teasmaids or the Barbara Cartland shrine.

I've just dragged myself out of bed, about to leave in 1/2 hour. In the A35 though, so who knows what might happen!

RAC card, CHECK. Sat Nav, CHECK, Petrol, CHECK :D

Posted

Im just about to leave in the Kadett, its hammering it down though, so expect me to arrive in a pile of rust. :-(

It's a bit grey here but no rain yet. I'm going via the A130/A12/A120 to avoid the motorways.

Now get off AS Richard and do some driving!

Posted

no rain here yet, just threatening. will be leaving in about half an hour once the kids are ready!

Just pulled over at a petrol station in Duxford, its full of old buses around here! and its been rainning since i left home :(

I can't make it. Knackered after yesterdays 1000 mile lunacy. Next time, probably.

Here's a pic of a 125p dashboard as compensation. Have fun folks.

Blimey. Quick with the pics! Was really nice to meet folk, including 'The so-called Management!'

Was wondering whether to do a new thread for photos or bung them in here? PLenty of cameras were in attendance so there should be at least one phot of every exhibit...

A few from the car park starters.
