My interest in out-of-the-ordinary old cars has spread to my wife, here are some of her photos.

LOL @ the Chavs in the Rover 25 also checking out the yellow wedge.

Hope I find a girl that has some sort of tolerance towards my habit of liking shit cars.

We're over that way quite a lot, will have to sample the cake. This post was brought to you in association with Polly Tea Rooms.

Your wife has a great eye for spots. Some QUAL there.

I've previously spotted that Capri in probably the same place.

Great shite spot spreading skills :D

She's good! I know nothing about cameras, but the tone, the framing, the subject, c'est formidable!

Hyundai XG300 if my memory serves me correctly. Now replaced by the actually rather good Genesis (RWD, V6 or V8, sounds good too).

Looks like Harley Street or somesuch? Just remember walking around that area one early evening before a concert at the Wigmore Hall.

Sorry, but there's no way ANY woman in the UK would have the slightest interest in photographing a Hyundai XG30 of her own free will.

What the hell have you done to her, you PERVERT!!!!

OK, this has me baffled. I can't work out what it's based on. My wife saw it today, in Devizes (Wiltshire's autoshite epicentre, obviously)

It's reassuringly 3-boxy.

It's obviously one of these Japanese pastiches; supposedly a Bentley S2? I would guess it's a Corolla or some such underneath.

At least the rest of the car looks a bit more period, unlike a 1950's front stuck on a 1990's shape car

Does anybody else quite like that, or is it just me?

You're not alone, I'd quite happily roll that and enjoy then looks of sheer bewilderment as to what it is. Also, it looks more like a Bentley than a Chrysler 300C with some new badges.

Super rare and wonderful! I tried to buy one long ago but when I went to see it I found the owner had taken it to bits and it was in boxes. I would have been mad to buy it but I still regret walking away from it in dark moments. I don't have the money now.

Yes, it's London, Stanhope Terrace.

Wikipedia reckons only 192 made, which makes it a similarly rare italian thing to the synthesizer-shite my nickname refers to.
