2007 Mondeo 2.0 TDCI incoming, for cheaps. My brother in law is getting a new mobility car so is selling this cheap - should be getting it next week.

Its had a lot of money spent on it, recent new clutch and full exhaust... including CAT. Its having a turbo fitted today hopefully so will be ready for next week.

I do like a Mk4 Mondeo! Reliable cars!

Still got a few bits kicking around from my Galaxy, including the upgraded instrument cluster - so I may install that!

These have been catching my eye recently. Just simple stuff and base petrols are ULEZ compliant I think?

MK4 Mondeos I swear by them! they really are a good reliable car. The ones ive had previous where no bother at all. Ive seen some very high mileage ones... also check out https://www.youtube.com/@alan4x

Clutches arent cheap... including flywheel your looking at a £1500 quid bill at a garage. But I'd say the same goes for most cars these days anyway.

Nice!

Check the radio and dash shut down properly with the key out and car locked... My mates old mk4.5 was plagued by that and it's a fairly common issue from reading

well done

Hopefully it will be here shorlty just insured it... 63 quid a month(includes all sorts of cover).. LR was £112 lol

Taxed it... 23 per month.. LR was 60 - so some savings are being made lol. It'll be better on fuel as well!

No it’s late Ford Convers dials. Unlike the Focus mk2 the immobiliser isn’t built into the cluster

I'm such a dufus. Mine actually has the same instrument cluster. For some reason I thought mine had a smaller 'square' display but it's the same as this.

That's a cool upgrade. @Con2K recommended me a ConversMod which 'hacks in' to this and gives some useful additional info eg water temp displays all the time.

I haven't yet got round to installing it but it's £30 I think, pretty good value.
