It's the 750 version but if it's done 31k miles for real it's done them under the sea. I was second highest bidder at £1538 but the winner did buy it (I checked) so no second chance offer.

This one I was £10 short of the reserve on https://ebay.us/m/5gWIHY so managed to buy it anyway. I normally can swing a weekday to go tat fetching but the seller helpfully works 7-7 mon-sat. 

I'd been discussing the bikes via PM with @hairnet as the resident NC licker and he very kindly offered to do the fetching with only a moderate allowance for train tickets, cake and pies.

Had a very short ride up the road between meetings. 

Miles covered: 5
Times limiter hit: at least 6

I don't have much to say about it that isn't covered to death by the usual reviews, the engine could definitely do with another 3000rpm but that's a feature, not a bug. 

It seems to sound the same and make the same amount of torque at any rpm which makes it hard to figure out which gear you are in from feel.

Seems pretty comfy and as a man of a certain size/age I am totally comfortable in admitting a boring upright bike is the one for me (for now)
