Datsun 411 stolen

Sad to say -my Datsun P411 was stolen from outside my house this afternoon.

 

Now wearing Slotmags, and the registration NAB 850D, its also missing its radiator- currently in for a recore! So it'll not be driving far.

 

Must have been lorried away-I'd have recgonised it startup.

 

Its unique I think -in the UK so should be reasonably traceable.

Lets just hope they dont torch it

 

Could have gone anywhere i guess-sokeep your eyes open & spread the word guys.

AAARGH! upsetting - hope you get it back in one piece mate.

 

I assume no one would nick my CX but all the same I switch the fuel shut offs when I'm leaving it (no to mention take the front off the hifi as it's the smash and grab that would see a window gone - take weeks to find a replacement)

 

I may be way up here but I'll still keep an eye out for it.

I've driven the local roads in case they drove away -only to discover no water & a missing rad!

 

I'd been working on the Fregate gearlinkage (dropthe steering box, front suspension,etc etc )only 10 feet away all day-only broke off to watch the match. I'd know the exhaust note too-anywhere.

Silly me, I was looking in the stolen section. Last time I posted a stolen car in the general section it lasted about half an hour, which is one of the rules I dislike about RR if you remember.

 

Theres certainly some pedantry and 'anality' in this story alright.

I'm really gutted for you Nigel. It's a horrid sickly feeling that leaves your stomach twisted. Clearly whoever took it has no idea what they've done - this car is too distinctive to sell. Speaking from experience the first 24 hours are key to finding the car.

Now, shoot me down in pre-1970 something is coming flames but I'd hazard a guess some Hiab equipped twat has had this off and will either race it or weigh it in.
