The GI60S thread got me thinking!

Shite sports cars for shiteists!

What would we have:

My list would include

Renault Alpine A310 - the build quality of a hand-built Renault!

smart roadster - 698cc of pure power

Berkeley Sa322 - shite engine in a plastic bathtub!

TR7 fhc - looked crap, no power, built by scousers

mgb rubber bumper - spoiled the lines of a mediocre car by adding huge bumpers

Any more for any more!

Surely all Sherpa coupes would qualify?

Additionally -

Simca / Matra Bagheera & Murena

Ford Probe

Volvo 262C

Sorry, Matra Murenas are not shite, even if we got 'em with Talbot badging. They're really good!

Awesome! Hideously oversize Hyundai/Supra-esque front, with hideously inconsistent undersized Supre-esque rear-end, with saloon middle bit and tiny little wheels!

it's OK!

I own a smart roadster and a Berkeley, but they're both still shite in one way or another.

Next on my list is the original

Hyundai Coupe in green in 1.6l form ...

Hyundai Coupe in green in 1.6l form ...

Agreed 100%

That front end is just so awful!

My G26, looked down upon by all, but a hoot to drive and so cheap it pains me.

Not sure if I agree with your Renault Alpine - aren't they very expensive?

I've never tried a Smart Roadster, but I had a Suzuki Cappuccino when it was newish and even with its speed restrictor it was still a lot of fun.

I reckon anything fibreglass is in with a shout of shite-dom

Hyundai Scoupe (remember them??)

Toyota Paseo.

Honda 100NX.

Mmmmm. You can almost smell the rice.

Oi watch it!!

But yeah, all of that is true, except that they look FRIGGING ACE.

How's about this?

or this

I despise these. Sorry!

Don't like these much.

I adore Mk1 Capris, but most of the survivors seem to be the bloody awful 1.3 / 1.6 / 2.0 versions. This, to me, is criminal, so I'm gonna nominate the 1.3 Capri as well.

I resemble that remark

Actually the build quality on both of them is reasonable.

I take it the AX ragtop owner is a frustrated Kawasaki owner/fetishist. Kwak green, and the 'Ninja' decal? Hmmm.

I was just thinking about the Sunny ZX Turbo Coupe this morn, one I nearly bought for peanuts. £250, to be exact. The £2000+ insurance quote sealed that deal. (I was 19 at the time, and living in Glasgow)

I'm going to nominate the cheeky little sporty number, which leached pedigree from its' touring car/rallying brethren, and wrapped it up in a moderately aggressive name: *fanfare* the Vauxhall Tigra. Preferably in 'limeade' paint, with the 1.4 in it. The Corsa with added 'lifestyle' value. quality.

How about this?

Thats mega shite. The guy obviously really wanted an Austin Princess, but only had a Lotus, and decided to build his own with what he'd got.

That actually resembles a Satsuma Castanet XR 4. So mega shite points! Wonder if he sleeps alone?

My shite vote would be the Kia KMS II.

:lol::lol: It does too.

Made by the Satsuma Lawnmower and dangerous toy company. Have a copy of that on the back of a Viz annual.

Or the current Tigra diesel. 0-60 in about 16 seconds I believe, which will make it nailed on future shite
