Did a viewing tonight, made a deal and I’m picking it up tomorrow morning, 9AM-ish. 
It’s European, very good nick, a bit overpriced for what it is and was looking for a very special kind of an idiot to buy it. Not really common to begin with. Amazingly rare super-high trim level. Red. 2002, making it an exceptionally late model. Usually turned to rust by now. VERY AS!

Any guesses? 😄

Appropriately, the fuel pump has failed. 🤣 Starts and runs on LPG though, and pump is cheap enough.

These were called Zastava Mediteran for earlier ones, or Zastava GTL for later ones. I think the ones you got in the UK are GTLs. But no, Zastava 101 and derivatives never got power windows AFAIK.

Almost empty and has aircon. Winner!

I almost never use public transport, and I remember it being very grim 10 or so years ago when I last had to use it regularly, especially lines going to Belgrade suburbs and adjacent cities that are still considered Belgrade. This is leaps and bounds better than what I remember. Is this public transport network improving? What’s next, buses running on schedule and being a reliable way to get somewhere? Enough of them so you’re not jam packed in rush hour?

You’re now paying for a ticket by sending a message or tapping your debit/credit card on a terminal. Not that anyone here is paying for public transport here as it’s taxpayer subsidized anyway, and as quality was so shit… I’m very pleasantly surprised, so SMS sent. Would seem really unfair not to give them less than a Euro for a bus that’s actually good.

Some fans would certainly make those trams a more pleasant experience. I love the fact that they still exist, along with the ex-Basel donations Belgrade got ages ago when they were getting rid, they’re iconic in Belgrade as they’ve been in service forever. Some climate change adjustments are sorely needed, it’s like a bloody sauna on a warm sunny day.

Speaking of warm sunny days, some of you may be wondering- why is he talking of aircons and being warm all the time? 37 is terrible, but that terrible?  Serbia is not in sub-saharan Africa, is it?

It’s a good thing that today’s pickup is equipped with an incredibly rare option then. I never saw one with it before, and some people even think it doesn’t exist.
