They often do that and remove the windscreen too so that the camera can take the shots without glare or reflections.

I saw a picture of Richard O'Sullivan a couple of years ago. Apparently he now lives in an old peoples' home and he looked dreadful.

Anyone noticed how Mellinda Messenger has suddenly turned into Yootha Joyce recently?

Really enjoyed that......the Zephyr Mk4 does crop up rather a lot. I think I spied a "Top Hat" Avenger aswell!

Man About The House was ok...but George And Mildred was better in my opinion......good strong characters. I liked it when Mildreds snobby sister Ethel came round.

I remember being on holiday in Scotland when Ms Joyce died in 1980....a chain-smoking alcoholic by all accounts, and looking back at the later series, she did suddenly age very badly.

At the start, why is that man doing his survey right in the middle of the road?

GR8 equipment though

I think I spied a "Top Hat" Avenger as well!

Maybe I'm a bit thick here, but is this the 2-door with a vinyl roof? :?

Kwalitee indeed; my first motor back in '83 was an Avenger 1600 inherited from the maternal parenting unit 8)
