Apparently they only made less than a 1000 G40's in this shape, the owner of this one said it came from France and hes had it from nearly new

That Cyclemaster tandem is brilliant!  I'd been hoping to make it to this but had major issues with work yesterday which meant I wouldn't have got there until everyone was buggering off.

And the winner is the Mini Clubman, with the 99 a closed second.

The "Will probably be stopped by plod and given a safety check" goes to this pile of manufactured patina.

Aaaargh! - when Ford owners are blessed with such a good choice of period manufacturer wheels, why fit modern toss like this?

I agree this is very nice, but I've often felt the clubman nose looked a bit out of proportion with the saloon body. I think the estate suited the clubman nose better.

I had to run a DVLA check to see that this was a replica. Very convincing. After watching Harry's Garage episodes on the real thing, a replica would be tempting if only to avoid some of the astronomical maintenance costs.

That's a new one for me - never seen one of these before. Tailgate looks like it splits which is a design feature I like.

Same here; was planning on going down but it all kicked off at work. A shame as it looked like a good one, but will try to make the next date.

Great to see the photos. Disappointed I couldn't make it due to various rubbish excuses, and anyway it would have been boring for two Laurels to be there....

That's brilliant to see. The Cresta was a clean, mildly modified owner's car on RR many years back and then around a decade ago it was sold and crashed. Repair progress was very slow and it looked like it probably wouldn't make it out the other side in one piece after dropping completely off the radar. Brilliant to see it back looking lovely once again.

Edit: It was actually you, @trigger who posted that it had been crashed back in 2012!

Here it is before the front ender, years ago.
