That'd be pre-Feb 19th this year then because I've been off work (Bill Smith Motorcycles) for 6 weeks following a bike accident on that date :(

The orange liftback for me please!I learnt to drive in a EE80, an '87 plate if I remember correctly.

You must own about 150% of the entire UK stock of TA40 Sunchasers. I don't think I've ever seen one of those on the roads over here.I have a strange hankering for an EE80 GT at the moment for some reason. Unfortunately, so apparently do a lot of other people, as prices seem to be a bit daft.

Hey, you work for Smith? Cool, been in there recently window shopping for a Bonneville.

Hi! Sorry to hear about the bike accident (what happened?) but nice Toyotas, especially the TE51!

There's a few that are appearing on Ebay etc., but 2 of mine are on the road which is fairly rare as most of the others are projects it seems. The EE80 GT is actually called an AE82 as it has the 4A-GE twin cam engine but as you say prices are a bit silly for them.

Schoolboy error on my part apparently - Committed to an overtake on a slow line of cars and the head car turned right into a garage on the other side of the road. I personally didn't register any signalling/road positioning on his part to indicate this but the police report held me at fault :( Such is life!!Anyway, broken ankle and a torn knee ligament. I'm now in a hinged cast so eventually I'm mobile again as the EE80 is automatic :)

I think the Bonnie is a nice bike to ride with a nice bit of character. The younger lads in the workshop think it's a bit of an old man's bike, so that must be me then :D :DAnd thanks to everyone for the welcome :)

Not really into sports bikes and doing 140mph everywhere and always fancied some British tin.Are you a Chester lad per chance and how long have you worked at Smiths? A mate of mine worked there a few years back but I think he left to go back to Demon Tweeks.

I'm from Crewe, travel in every day (when fit :) ). Been at Smiths for 2 1/2 years, was at the Honda motorbike dealer in Wrexham for 12 years so know most of the local lads.

Great collection. I really like those EE80 wheel trims.

That's a very nice selection of Toyotas. Big thumbs up for all of them, especially the Orange Corolla.

I'm sensing a theme here. I did buy my youngest Daughter a late (R plate) Starlet 5 door Sportif in Lilac the other year. Needed a CV boot and a rear brake service for MOT. £300 was the asking price, saw no reason to chip the feller on the deal. If you need a private plate, Oxford's the place, by the way.
