Ive just been told that a good biker mate of ours was killed on Monday by a car driver who pulled directly out in front of him.He had years of experience and wasnt an idiot..really nice chilled out low key Aussie bloke..he l be sorely missed...

Bad news buddy. Sadly there are some really furking poor drivers on the road, & bikers are so much more vunerable than car drivers. Not good.Always difficult to know what to say when shit like that happens, but feel free to vent your anger here, you're amongst mates.

Thanks mate..fact is..NZ roads are a bloody nightmare too..a state highway here..100kph max.. are like dual carriageway farm roads..so anything can come off the side..speeding is a big no no...tho it is thoroughly ignored..i wont get in certain passenger seats with friends i know who speed..

My condolences mate, that's shit, the same thing happened to a young lad who worked at the mechanics next door to where I worked at years ago.He was only 23 and nice, sensible kind of lad who went out with his mate one Sunday evening for a ride when a car pulled out of a side road onto the country lane he was riding on, his mate managed to avold it but James didn't and hit it side on.The next day at work was awful.

we go to his tangi-cremation tomorrow..he managed the local recycling centre..drove a Fiat Tipo 88...and killed on a bike...eh..he d suffered with illness..aged 52..and now this..he was a excellent mentor..and grew pot..we smoked it tonite overlooking the river estuary..with seabirds..tidal flow..ominous river..dried milk factory humming to the surf..

 

..landlord is going to rebuild the Jowett Javelins..he was very friendly with Steve..so were gonna dedicate a build to him..theres an Autoshite-Retro Rides potential job going there..the turquoise is going to be a hot -rod stylee..so need boxer motor-diesel idea put into it put in it...

An immense thanks to all above members for their commiserations.Steve was one of us..a shite lover..a recycler..he scored us loads of classic bicycles to support our Green Bike scheme.he even went off in a eco friendly bamboo coffin!..again..thanks lads..it helps..i mean it..
