Another terrific surfing session Mr Balls, I salute you! That diesel Charade would be a brilliant commuting weapon I'm sure.

That Estelle is MINTY!!Hey, the Mazzer is in fatha Ted country.....maybe we could co-ordinate some kind of relay system; everyone gets to have it parked outside their house "cooling down" until it gets back to sunny Essex....

The text is as incomprehensible as the car:

CONDITIONED AIR, 4 SEATS, CHAMBER OF BACK TELEVISION.

IT HAS DOCUMENTS OF SPAIN.

I CAN GUESS RIGHT ITS CAR LIKE PART OF PAYMENT OF MY SBARRO.

Mazzer 4 door no reserve...."water system pressurising" - is this bad?http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2000-X-MASERATI-Q ... 3cacde74c8

Paging ChinaTom!!
On the watch list - but unlikely candidate given the distance from me, the expensive engine surgery required and the fact that I'm just about to start a 6 monther in Cambodia. Jag restoration should be completed by the time I get back so will probably pass on that one and be patient until the right one comes along for sensible money.

From what I can remember of my Biturbo, getting the head(s) off didn't look a particularly awkward job as Italian engines go. Mind you, I suspect an X-reg Quattroporte has rather more valves, camshafts and injection gubbins to worry about than a B-reg 420.

 Fuggin 'eck. £60k  Good luck with that...

Misprint much?I'd expect £6k, still more than I'd pay for one, but about right for a dealer.
