The Dynorod colour, I was reading on the back of one of their vans, is actually a trademark of the firm. So that Saxo is around 40% illegal!

Is it just me, or should a K plated capri have small (escort) tail-lights? Actually, I'll answer my own question.. the changeover was july '72 so it's possible, but unlikely. Or added later...

 

Also the ad says that the rear window chrome trims are worth £200 a set. I have 4 sets, anyone give me £500 and punt on for profit? no, thought not....

The gas van blue is also a colour developed for especially for British Gas, who own Dyno (according to their fleet manager anyway).

 

I don't mind that Saxo, at least it does look different without having loads of bits of ugly stick on plastic and lights, it might not be the ideal paint job, but at least they have made an effort with the detail.

 

One things for sure though, it'll look shite when the orange fades, as often seen with the aforementioned Dyno fleet :?

Genuine barn find ERA Turbo, this is one of the last UK ERA turbo's built unfortunately it suffered an alternator failure in 2001 and so was laid up in a garage pending repair which subsequently never happened

We bought this car earlier this year, for the sole purpose of completing a ramshackle rally

 

Never?!?!?!

 

Basically it consists of travelling in convoy across europe in a budget car, with a group of similar cars, with the option of scrapping it at the finish (Krakow, Poland).

 

OK.......

 

the car was not abused on the journey!

 

Just prior to the journey then?

 

It had been owned by an elderly gentleman since 2000 when we bought it.

Tis a shame when mongs to things like that, I'd fancy doing a charity run in a old Ital or something but I'd never fuck it up with aerosol paint just to stand out.

I have also fitted a seperate water bottle under the bonnet which is connected to a new wiper jet placed in the middle of the mouth of the skull, so when you squirt your wipers the skull spits out fresh water onto whoever is in front of the car (squirts about 8 ft in front of the car) this is great fun when your at a crossing and kids are walking past pointing at the bonnet, then you squirt them with water.

I'm no BMW expert but in the Q&A he states he's now uploaded a picture of the 3.2 Evo engine it apparently has. Not only does that not look like the right engine, it doesn't even look like it's a picture of the same car
