Who cares how rubbarsh it is to drive, it's beige!Plus you ould probably luzz in one of those BMW "TDS" type engines in there without monumental arseache.

Yeah or you could nick all its gubbins and put them in a chevette to make a really slow 'rally rep' that stinks and takes yonks to start on cold mornigns.

(will look class on the driveway of their baratt home)

I got something through the post today asking if I might be interested in living in some supposedly "exclusive" development with prices starting at £190K or something. I have taken the liberty of editing into the picture what it'd look like if I lived there.

That'd be after about a week. The window hasn't been smashed, I just couldn't be bothered buying any curtains. I got the washing machine for nowt as I found it at the side of the road, but I don't think it works so I've left it out in case anyone fancies it.

^LOL^That's class, Hirst man! There's a part of me that would take great delight in buying a brand new house in a snooty new estate then having something horrid like my Maxi parked outside growing moss and making an oil slick on the block-paving. We even got as far as getting some brochures for some new houses they are lobbing up here, but the prospect of paying £50k extra to be 2 miles from town with a sub-20ft garden and only an extra 5'11 square box room didn't appeal that much.*edit; I think it was that 'style' of house too.

IT'S DACIA TIME!

So here we have a car with about 15k miles, it's less than 2.5 years old, has a resonably decent diesel lump yet is only £3650!

Yes it's LHD and you'd need to bugger about getting it registered here but it still sould like a cheap way into a newish car that should have a good ten years in front of it yet.

You can label me a communist and/or homosexual if you wish*

But at least I wouldn't be owning/driving a Metro.

*thatcherite businessman status/number of small replicants clearly prove otherwise

*thatcherite businessman status

I would think your politics would fit in well on a certain BL-infatuated forum!:wink::wink:

Possibly.I'd like to be labelled a communist, but my hand is forced. Beyond the point of no return. I can't fight the machine from within, once I make my pile I can preach. Shit, I'm like a crap Bono, aren't I....?

No, there isn't, because he is the ultimate in crap, the pinnacle of the ultimate futility of mankind. And I would gladly kick him to death. Twice. I guess I have just been forced into a life that doesn't really sit that well with my own ethics or outlook, as a result of circumstance, and beyond that it all boils down to economics. I would like to employ a "trainee" to educate in the trade, but time & funds are very tight, so if I can employ a foreign man with 20 years experience for the same cost what can I do???I would like to think that I could be "straight" on my taxes, but I need to mitigate it down to the minimum to make the business most efficient, so again, I have to take those oppotunities to circumvent and minimise losses to HMRC wherever possible within the law... I'd like to put faith in my fellow man to pay me within the timescale reasonable I specify, but that doesn't happen, and screws me over for making things work....Those on PAYE, don't grumble, it's not such a hard life!

Bloody hell Pog.You've just boiled the meaning of life down for me, too.

It all went a bit wrong with the hairdressers and telephone sanitisers... I have the whole lot on MP3 if anyone wants a copy (to make sense of it) and I still think the lat 10 minutes rank as some of the finest radio in all of evah.

The wife is self employed and I do her tax return - tis shit and the reason I woulnt leave the NHS.

your right there Pogster, I'm glad I left self employment behind.

^ Crikey, bit of a challenge that one. Still, it ended at £1172 which is approx £1171 more than I would want to pay for a Kia Sedona with 400k miles on it...
