That Renault has done very little to alleviate my grumpy mood. A case for voluntary euthanasia. I volunteer him!

'Good afternoon, Exoctic Italian Sports Car company, can I help you?'

Yes, I'd like a well advertised/multi-photographed oddball sports car please that looks nothing like a Mitsubishi FTO and must not be more fragile than a Laguna automatic with Iveco wiring. Oh, and DEFO no 'cat' listed ones please.

'Ah, good news sir, we have the perfect motor carriage for you and it's on eBay right now...'

Oh and the fact the engine's been partly stripped, sorry for being a pedant but the coolant pipe from water pump to rad is missing, the nose of the airbox is missing - maybe it's in the car with all that other old shit?

What a fuckin cock nibbler.

Only three months' MOT, but for £500 I would smash this inadequately photographed ST estate TO BITS.

1.8 auto doesn't sound like a barrel of sex, but this 600 looks FACKIN SWEET AS. Check out them insides!

£595, full Rover history, year's test, 86k. Our survey says YES.

Not sure about these, but £600 seems reasonable for this shiny boss-spec range-topper with a man-sized MOT.

Is a cheapo Lexus a bad idea? This one looks OK for £775, though it needs at least one wing mirror kicking off to repay the owner's fondness for the word 'marque'.

That Galant looks extremely tasty! I'm sure I could find excuses to keep hold of that for quite some time.

47k 1980 Civic with history's yellowest interior! Should be a one-tonne builder's poly-bag full of win, but erratic paint, fug-awful trimz and a split driver's seat drip saline on the £900 tag.

Buy this and tell the world that for £925, you have successfully teamed sub-7-sec 0-60 performance with reasonable economy. Wait in vain for the world to respond.

Only a 2.3 and not the cheapest ever at £980, but nicely unwankered. Shame about the open sores on the driver's seat.

8 litre v10 - 310bhp. How can such a massive engine make so little power. My 4.2 Audi made this.

Having said all that there is a hill billy part of me wants to run moon shine over the border (to Renfrewshire) in this.

I have to admit, I have a semi for both of these -

The yank brings out the baccy chewin cusinfukker in me and the pink jag....well, IF the mechanics and bodywork are really sound its got to be worh £200 cos you'd have 2 grand change from a minter to get the fecker resprayed..

I'd be happy enough parking a pink jag outside the house - it would piss off the neighbours somthing else. A shame it isn't an XJ40 with gaffer tape holding the bumpers on - problem with S3s is that they are't 'schemiespec' anymore

:D Fuck me that top Landie is ex-NI. And no seller, they aren't bomb-proof. I've been in one when it's had a breeze block dropped on it from the Westlink footbridge, and it felt like it would fall to bits. And V8 rare my bollix - all of ours were V8s.

...Were the Snatches covered in some kind of Macrolon that could sort of take shite? they don't look a patch on the copper's ones.

Looking at the listing it looks like he's kinda overdone the whole Snatch landrover thing...

That Cresta used to belong to a guy i know, he bought it for £400 and sold it a year ago for £550 as it was so rotten, It's had the autobox fitted recently as it was a manual and the bench seat and electric windows are out of a Viscount.

It also sold though Colchester car auctions at one point for £200 and has had 4 owner that haven't even been in the log book, In other words, it's a shed.

Posted

Starting that Cresta at 1500 he could at least have invested a ton in some carpet. And only 4 new tyres? What's on the spare then, a 1972 crossply? Oh and fella: finish off that bloody floor!

Posted

I would be seriously gutted if I won that Cresta then travelled a long way to collect it. i'd go absolutely tits when i saw that floorpan, what a shitbox.
