Note the C-reg FSO up on stands, first registered Dec 1985, untaxed Sept 1992. Judging by the girls clothes and other vehicles on the street, it's probably the Cortina or this which are competing to be the newest car there!

Simsons are more than capable of getting to Gotha.  Or perhaps they've been and are on their way back to the factory at Suhl.

This is a prototype ZDK-4101 motorcycle from 1987. Unfortunately for motorbike fans around the world the USSR collapsed before this beauty could hit the roads.

There's touches of Jawa about the styling and Yamaha around the paint, note the go faster 'end can'. I'm guessing it's a monoshock, very advanced for the Soviet industry, but I wouldn't be surprised if the engine could trace it's origins back to the pre-war DKW RT125.

This FIAT went all FIAT on them five days ago and Angelo, who drew the short straw, ended up in the pot. Fortunately for the Land Rover team they didn't even make it out of the compound and no-one had to be eaten.

I would say the FSO or the Skoda, that's hiding behind the Alfasud, are the newest cars in the street. The Cortina would be at least 3 years older than either of those. Also, if it didn't already leak, I bet the Alfasuds sunroof leaked after Mrs Andretti got off it.
