I recognise where that is! It's near where I used to live in Sheffield after my first marriage went south. Top of Eccleshall Road South, could be in early 1979 when horrendous snow and the fritters (bugger, should be gritters) were on strike.

I lived there after the first Mrs T and I parted company. I was working as a porter at Weston Park Hospital, basically to get a bit of thinking time after deciding I was never going to be a decent lawyer.  

One of our jobs was snow clearing, hard work made more bearable by the Head Porter lacing our tea with Scotch, Brandy or Rum. 

All turned out alright in the end. No longer in Sheffield, married for 35 years and retired from a university lecturing job, although in nursing (but did teach law, long story)
