Now that's what you call base. I'm struggling to figure out what it once was. Somebody must recognise those alloy wheels. Also wondering where it might be as it's RHD. Is it ULEZ compliant? So many questions.

Renault 18, perhaps?

Looks LHD to me as the driver's legs seem to be using the left-hand footwell. I agree it's not obvious from the way the steering wheel position appears in the picture

I told you it wasn't a good idea to park on the beach, those Spitfire just need a whiff of sea air before they turn to dust.

Rare 2dr promo?

Extended like on the Chapron Decap doors, it looks very stylish but you would be stuck inside in a car park. Still would.

Turns out, following some googlefoo, that 'lubricentro Blas' is on Avenida Lima, in the suburbs of, unsurprisingly, Lima in Peru.

The car has a Japanese look about it, and Peru has a large Japanese diaspora, so I wonder if it is a yo JDM drifter, brought over cheap due to the ridiculously strict  Japanese MOT rules, and the slightly more lax approach of the local Peruvian authorities.

Well I've gone back and studied it and I'm even less sure than before! You're right about his legs but there seems a fair distance between the instrument binnacle and nearside of the car. But the picture is a bit fuzzy as you say. It's not that important in the grand scheme of things is it?

Pump up the ICE and bang out some bangin' tunez.

This is a Citroën 5CV 'Trefle' (shamrock, clover leaf)

These cars are so big now it is almost impossible to go to the super market without picking up a ding or two in the car park.

Interesting* that FU2 is now on a Rolls Royce that is as old, if not older, than the Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag.
