Norwegian WW2 history seems quite unknown outside  Norway, which is a shame because a lot of incredible things happened.

And if you are interested in such things, below is one of the incredible stories from Norway during WW2.

 

I visited the war museum in Oslo castle a few years ago. I was moved by the fact that makes it pretty clear that Britain fought the Nazis alone for 2 years while focussing on the exploits of the Norwegian resistance.
