That's the only reason I shared it here. And the awd on these must be extremely rare and I can hardly find any info about this online. Below is a link to a Escort RS2000 awd article, but the one for sale here is a normal 1.6.

Thanks, of course - now I remember the RS2000 model, but yes, the fact is was also sold in just standard trim was completely unknown to me!

An uncle of mine had a 2 wheel drive MK5 RS2000.
