I know Orions had the same seat arrangement as that, the the window shape looks Orionish. But the Mk2s had different speaker grilles, so I'll say a Mk1. Looking at it closely it's got the same grab handles and headlining material as my mum's '87 Escort.Strangely, I was thinking some kind of Fiat before scrolling down to Taynes post, not sure why as I've never even see the interior of one!

Here's a thought though:On the rear top left of the seat back, is that a button/lever thng to drop the rear seat? If so then isn't it more likely to be a hatchback?I know the Onion Ghia had one part of the back seat that dropped to allow limited boot access but didn't think it was on that side?Toyota Starlet?

It's definitely not a hatchback, the HRW wire is connected to the pillar. Quite a lot of saloon cars have folding seats.

Judging by the recessed speaker and quarterlight on the door I would say Ford Orion but not ghia spec as IIRC they had rear headrests.

Wouldn't an Orion have thicker C pillars though?

dont think it s an orion, the rear seat back fold down completely, not just the centre of the seat

I dont know, the upright strip of the window is pretty much bob on. Dont know whether the seats folded or not etc.
