Trigger, the 323 was at a shit emporium called Trago Mills, they sell all sorts of shit.....to be avoided....they have various vehicles for the staff to run about in....used to be a couple of ropey Transits with Trago 1, Trago 2 etc you get the picture....they must be trying to be "inventive" with the plates.....

And the Granada, I thought it looked familiar...I posted it on page two,

Posted Image

At least it's on the road and not still rotting on his drive. :)

A couple from this eve.....my brother in law said there was a weird kit car type thing round the corner from ours, I popped out to have a look and it was an Ariel Atom, thing is I cant look at one of these things without imagining Clarksons face full of our oxygen when he was driving one on TG.....did'nt bother with a photo....

The IS is a minter and belongs to my mate wee man....he looks like a chimp...or Mickey Dolenz.....it's done 156,000 and is lovely. He was going to sell it but I managed to talk him out of it.....

Lots of tidy Rolly Rovers round my way, I'm beginning to really like them...

Went to Exmouth today, saw an awful amount of tin....missed more than I managed to take pictures of, the best was a nicely modded 100E in black with some nice pinstriping on the boot.....

Heres the rest....

Trago Mills is well wierd! It's run by some devout anti european and you still buy petrol by the gallon at his filling station! Worth a look if you're in the area though.

^WHS - what's the story?Keep seein more and more 323s turn up...

The I spy plate on the 323 is from a shit out of town shopping hole where they have odd vehicles on site for the staff to run about in...they used to have hanging Transits with Trago 1, Trago 2 etc....you get the picture. I think they are running out of ideas for the plates. That 323 was quite tidy and will probably be run into the ground. Theres loads of them round my way, just when I think I've seen all of them...another will pop up... :)

Love the Toyota, i'm pretty sure that one was on the 'bay fairly recently.. can anyone say for certain? Cant be too many in that colour left?

Posted

How much was that escort estate up for?also, that Toyota 1000 is a rare beast now, my dad had one of those in blue when I was a little kid.

Posted

Yeh, Mk4 Escort estate looked pretty tidy - how much was it??

Posted

IIRC the Escort was £300 without a ticket, or £400 with. The Capri has been around for years, here and there. Theres loads of those garages in the village we went to, would love to know whats in some of them. Lots of Protons....probably

Scabby E30 has been sat for months and is full of crap, interesting wheel treatment though....

Mini sounded nice and has straight cuts, tasty bird driving it too...

The old lady driving this Micra was the oldest person I've ever seen, I held the door for her at our local surgery...it must have taken her an hour to get from her car to the door....she was proper fossilised....stunk too...

Posted Image

Posted Image

Was walking along this morning when I glimpsed out of the corner of my eye some chrome behind a wall...just poking out it was....had a quick sneak up a private drive and saw this lot.....

The twin Beetles were opposite the Hondas which I spotted first.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Dunno what the story is here and I'm surprised I havent spotted these before as this place is just down the road from my house and I go past it all the time....nobody was home. :)

Posted

The red Prelude is a proper early one. I don't think I've ever seen a V-reg one before.

Posted

And todays...from Tescos.....

Posted Image

Aint seen a MK2 Astra for ages...

Saw a lovely Saab 99 in sky blue with a nice tattyness about it....was too slow but just got the trailer which was also delightfully rubbish...

Top spottage from our resident Teignbridge correspondent, I wonder what the crack is with the plate on the Corrado?

Think the general consensus is that those Preludes are super-lovely, I saw one here today and know of another that I've lusted after for the last nine years, they're quite compact little coupes much like an Acclaim coupe.

Posted

Cor you spot a hell of a lot, it isnt just me whose noticed a massive influx of shite recently. The prelude pair is brilliant, theres a gold one round here but I need to go to Tescos at a certain time to see it...... maybe in the holidays. The Sapphire has had later indicator lenses added on, looks quite good with them actually.

Posted

I wish i could compete with your spottage skillz, I see lots of stuff but never get photos, I past a Jensen-Healey yesterday outside my local shops but was to slow with a camera.

Posted

Thanks guys...I seem to be lucky when spotting stuff...always got me "pikey eyes" in......

Check this out, popped down the shop to get some beer and baccy and saw my local rag was running a story about the Kerswell by-pass. This has been on the cards for as long a I can remember. Looks like they have used an old photo as it is chock full of shite.....

Posted Image

Looks like a Talbot Solara behind a Sunny estate...

Posted Image

Micra behind a Lotus Espri S4...

Posted Image

Had a flick through and found an article on a pub in Torquay, and parked up out side are a Granada estate, Mk1 Fiesta, Proton and a Sierra....

Posted Image:)

Posted

LOL I think what they do is dig out a 10-year old edition and slap a new date on it, I remember them talking about that bypass 15 years ago, its a pain in the 'arris at rush-hour or when the grockles are going to Torbay.

Posted

That Kingskerswell bypass is long overdue! dreadful traffic jams almost every day, even worse in the summer. I use 'wing mirror alley' between Newton Abbot and Torquay to avoid the jams.

Posted

Ha...... I avoid going to Torquay like the plague, the only reasons to go there are to score or buy stolen car bits LOL..... the Newton road is a joke and even when they get around to putting the by-pass in place all it will do is move the bottle neck somewhere else. Wing mirror alley is not without its problems especially if you are trying to get across Penn inn when its busy......fucking good road at night though.....

Anyway went to Starcross today via Dawlish, saw some good stuff...

Posted Image

Ratty bike was behind a giffer complex......"Get your motor running...." etc

Posted Image

Moggy has been here as long as I can remember to the point where the grass has grown up through the brick so it looks like its sat on green carpet....

Posted Image

Posted Image

This was surprisingly un-rustifeid...

Posted Image

Rallaye was nice and unmessed with...

Seems to be rakes of these around the hood...I really like them...
