Thanks for that. Never figured out why the called it 4OD. You have the BBC Player, ITV Player, 5 Player and Sky Player. Cant for the life of me guess why 4 had to be different and go for 4OD?

Channel 4 is well down with the kids, innit. They're the hippest kats in town. F-f-f-f-fresh!I struggle to watch Mike Brewer, you'd think after years of dealing with imported 4x4s he'd have figured out that you don't call them a "Mitsa-booshy".

They must've been filmed when Brewer was on his cabbage soup diet. And, whatever happened to Richard Sutton?

Richard Sutton was a proper classic car journo, but I haven't seen his name in print for years.I wonder if 4OD will put the earlier series on - which features another of our number "selling" a car?Entertaining to see the legendary Mr Bickle nearly overshoot the ramps then get busy with the angle grinder

Maybe its cos the four - player sounds a bit dodgy??

Oh and Channel 4 is so not a stranger to anything dodgy! Remember the "Red Triangle" films late on a Friday night - what pap they were - I could get better stuff from the indian dude down the newsagents.

Sutton was motorsport director at Goodwood, although I dont know if he still is?

I also remember a children's entertainer who ended up scrapping her mot-failure BX.

I remember that one,she took it to a breakers run by Hamish Irvine who used to race in the BTCC :o

Come on, you should have got this Volksy with your dirty mind.

Maybe its cos the four - player sounds a bit dodgy?? Laughing

Got it in one.As far as the dodgy C4 stuff is concerned most of it is captured here on the Foreplayer in Adam & Joes formative years. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/adam-and-joes-fourmative-yearsRe Richard Sutton. If he is a Motoring journo, he has his work cut out:

TriviaCan't drive, but intends to employ his friend Anthony Haynes as his personal driver.

'That ''overshoot the ramps'' was well staged, Mr W. From memory I had to do it 4 times before the cameraman was satisfied. The grinding was just pissing about -to make a load of sparks for telly.Tis all a phoney really.Hope the old girl is sitting in a dark lockup ,safe, someplace.Doubt a Splittie would get scrapped now. She was a solid old bus
