It's in deepest East Sussex, a fair way from home for me. I did see a sign for a "Jaguar Museum" leaning against an adjacent fence :?

I used to pass by that place sometimes when out on country jaunts with the parents back in the day, used to have loads of shite sitting outside but never appeared to be a working museum.

these things like to rust too so hope they get saved/restored/recommissioned :?

Good spot. 8) I used to pass a garage in Fife on the way to the annual family holiday in Crail every year. I think it was in somewhere like Lower LArgo or Lundin Links. Anyway, it was always surrounded by Jaguars of all sorts, XJ's, MK's and perhaps my miind has become a little clouded since the mid 80's but I'm sure there was the occasional e-type carcass there too.

yeah, that was in Upper Largo, 2 old guys had it, and the place was stacked to the roof with NOS Jag stuff, and loads more XK120's 150's, S types, the lot.... Was just around the sharp bend as you came into Largo from Lundin Links, about 1/2 mile from Mercury Motors. All gone now... :(

I'm sure there was a classic car garage in lundin links, maybe 5 or 6 years ago.I think it was mostly Healeys and MGs but it might have had the odd jag...
You're thinking of Mercury Motors. The one in Upper Largo was called Purves I think. I believe it was a father and son had it but they both died within a short time of each other and that was that. They were distantly related to my wife.

John Purves motors I think, they used to look after an old Land Rover and I sometimes delivered parts for it to them. The inside of the place was amazing, just stacks and stacks of parts, mostly brand new,for old cars.
