I did not know the Skoda 1000MB was sold in Australia as the Sabre, a guy I know has a later S110L which are rare as hens teeth here.

I wanted one new, but the lease price was £75 more per month than the XR3i I ended up with in 1985.

Subsequently had at least one of all 3 and the Maestro was more a quick ish saloon than hot hatch.

It seems the word hatchback hadn't been coined by 1970.  They refer to them as "saloon-cum-estate" and "convertible saloon".
