PhpBB definitely does the same thing by default and has done for as long as I can remember. Which definitely goes back far enough to have seen me uploading images via 33.6k dial-up, so wasn't yesterday. One thing I've noticed since switching to a new phone last weekend is that there's a broken image showing for an icon on a lot of the user avatars - as below. Fixed that and I think it's back to spamming everyone. Especially as it's going through the backlog and sending everything on that was queued. My daily updates never arrive at the same time each day. It does not bother me. I did get "spammed" 4 emails send in a short space of time. Just catching up on things now. To cross post I'm putting this here as its a pinned post and more likely to catch eyes before the thread below is lost from other threads coming in. So feel free to post in this thread here anyone has views on this: TL;DR We're currently on virtual server hosting but its bloody expensive for what it is.
