Double figures this year already

This year has been a busy one so far as everyone seems to be literally giving cars away, there are so many bargains about I just can't help myself I'm like a kid in a sweet shop,

I seem to be like a magnet for cheep cars as Friday night get a call asking if I know anyone wanting a cheep diesel, I say like hell yeh and pop over for a look on Saturday morning,

Now I'm not normally one to come home empty handed so as you will guess here it is in all its glory.

Funky seats too and very clean.

And such low milage too.

The car has a very comprehensive service history with a folder full of bills for everything it's had done in it's life right down to wiper blades,

Reason for sale the old guys in his 80s now and wanted rid of it,

It's apparently some special edition sporting and has had the stickers removed that went over the roof,

That’s tidy. Mine is of a similar mileage yet seems to have led a harder existence and is a little more careworn yet I can’t find anything comparable that can give similar economy nor would cost so little in the form of maintenance. Since new mine has had two rear shock absorbers, two front disks, four sets of brake pads and 12 tyres. That’s it after 12 years of running up and down the country and fighting the good fight in urban environments.

That looks good. I've been mildly surprised with how decent the 2000s Fiat's I've had. Awful interior quality, but great engines, a good feel to the driving and usually pretty good handling.

My mum has a later Panda 4x4 diesel, and it's great. Apart from the exploding rear diff.

It's quite surprising how lively it is I was impressed, the trip computer says 57mpg and all its done is popping to the shops with it's old owner so I suspect that might rise a tad over time with longer drives.

In the folder full of bills is pages of panda history printed off, the guy must have really loved it so why he sold it for so little is a mystery.

Fantastic when the cars literally come to you! That looks quite neat. Is it my imagination or is it sitting a bit low? Funnily enough I looked at one just like that but in yellow complete with giffer tow bar like yours. They are very compact indeed, but charming.

Yes I'm an armchair buyer well at least the last half dozen have been although plans are afoot to change that one.

I thought it looked a bit sunken too but it has a bodykit so I'm guessing it just looks low as I've never even looked at one before,

Its a snug fit but seems plenty big enough for every day use and it does drive very well, I'm sort of impressed that such as good little motor can be had so cheap.

I do have a soft spot for Fiat Pandas. Had one as a courtesy car once and actually rather liked it...

This looks very similar to the forum bike 100hp of shame, I like those seats

That looks grand! You do turn up some belters. Give me a shout if you come to need rid of it man. Think the missus would be all for one of those.

Sorry guys the panda has left the building, this lovely little motor has found a new user and has been given to the fither in law to use, I think it would have raffled very quickly as it would only taken a couple of quid a ticket to be in pocket.
