I am tempted by one of those but was under the impression they resist rust fairly well?

It is, I could fancy that!  I remember them when they were new.  The press regarded them as a huge step forward for Vauxhall.  Also, suddenly they had a direct competitor for the Cortina again, as the Victor/VX had drifted upmarket and grown in size with each new body.

To be honest, I don't think they're as rare as folk think. Every few months, one seems to pop up in this thread. Or maybe it's the same car?
