eBay tat volume 3.

I like Mercs, especially 2 door ones but SLC's leave me cold even without more miles than the Starship Enterprise and dumped outside for 20 years. Not worth a lot even with an MOT.

I think that's an SL with hardtop rather than an SLC. Still a potential world of pain...

(I have noticed quite a few interesting vehicles, like this, being offered for sale with no French paperwork, would this make it an absolute pain/impossible to register over here?)

That is great!! I would imagine as long as it has a chassis number and you'd be able to confirm when it was built (probably with the help of a klub), you'd register it OK.

Perhaps something like this would be a candidate for Breadvan's communal autoshite hack purchase, if we chipped in a reasonable amount and someone with skills cobbled it through an MOT, fit some cheap inappropriate alloys, cibies, sports steering wheel and crap bucket seats, let every syndicate member have it for a week and then punt it on - we'd all be millionaires*

(The value of your investment can go down as well as up)

The problem I see with this is that the NOVA declaration has to happen within two weeks of the car entering the country.

The way I understand it is that for each day after this you are charged a penalty of 5 quid and once the payment is received you will be shot by a firing squad.

Bickle is more knowledgeable than me about this, but the NOVA thing seems like bollocks as long as you are pre-warned and know not to put a date on of more than a fortnight before you want to register it.

If it didn't come in on its own registration -fine.

If it did, they know the date of entry with no date of exit.

Unless, of course, that it came in on the back of a trailer/lowloader -in which case they wont have the number plate.

They checked mine....

£1500 for a shit listing of a tatty Croma with no ticket, no apparent history, no mention of mileage...?  That'll get engine raped by someone trying to keep an Integrale alive on the cheap - hence him putting DELTA INTEGRALE all over the title.

Shame as it's one of the last couple left. Cockwand.

Talbot Samba for Talbot Samba maybe

Becoming extremely rare, this Talbot Samba Cabriolet is remarkably sound (apart from the front of the bonnet which is a particular weak point on these cars) and has only covered a few miles since its last MOT which has now expired. Red with grey interior. Alloys etc.

This e23 has been for sale for ages and I can't fathom out why as it looks brill

Probably the cloth and the colour kill it.

Frankly if it were me I would re-advertise it at £4k just to make the point about what it should be worth - in comparison to some pissed about lowered Passat.

Rant over.

That E23 looks great, but I am usually put off slightly by 'Here is what it looked like last summer' pics, but saying that you can buy a nice E39 for that money now.

Not sure these old 7s have much of a following, but I could be wrong.

the e23s dont have a big following, which is a shame. They dont seem to rot as keenly as the 3 or 5's either. I think this ones a 728i
